A Quiet Start To The Year.

Even though the park is quieter at this time of year, the team has been hard at work preparing for the season ahead. Winter cleaning, maintenance across all units, pressure washing on chilly days, and appliance testing are all part of the off-season routine.

One of the season’s highlights is Shearwater Lodge — now complete with a private hot tub and glass-fronted decking, perfectly positioned to make the most of the sea views. It’s been far from glamorous work, but the effort ensures everything is ready for your visits.

Over the last couple of weeks, we’ve also been able to make some long-planned improvements to the gym. Updating the equipment has been on our wish list for a while, and the quieter season hasbeen a perfect time for us to make those upgrades. Recent additions include new cardio equipment designed to suit a wide range of abilities, from gentle, supported sessions to more challenging workouts. The aim has been to create a comfortable, low-pressure space where gym users can move in a way that feels right for them - whether that’s part of a regular routine or simply something new to try.

As we move into 2026, it feels like a year of momentum. There are some meaningful moments ahead for the Swallow Tree Family, along side the day-to-day work that keeps everything ticking along. The local calendar brings its usual mix of coastal and community events with a familiar sporting energy throughout.
