Revised Pet Friendly T's & C's
We write this day, April 1st 2026 to advise that a review into our T&C’s in regards to pet friendly units is underway which may have an impact on future bookings.
The T&C’s around our ‘pet friendly’ designation are intended for dogs or maybe cats. Sadly, they have been found lacking in fitness for purpose with honey badgers, flamingos, alligators etc. which having been turning up in ever increasing numbers since the exotic pet trade boom after Covid. As we are unable to catch all species that guests now claim as ‘acceptable pets’ in the T&C’s, it has led to an unfortunate rise in quite startling beasts slipping through the nets on a technicality. Alas, this is getting costly for litigation procedures and clean up / repair costs.
As many will know, recently John Hancock spent 5 weeks in hospital with a bad back. It’s only now the hollerballoo with the tribunal is over, that we can reveal it was a £20 bet with Wayne Jones, who rented Pet Friendly Ambassador #22, that his kangeroo could jump him in in a single bound that put John there!
We’ll reach out to those who may be impacted as we conclude this review, but in the meantime time we would ask that pets are limited to ‘traditionally domesticated’ species, or are at least kept in their own cage / pond while in and around the units.
Thank you for your attention on this matter,
