Half Term Under The Sun

What a Half Term It's Been in Pembrokeshire

Now that the May half term holidays are behind us, it's fair to say Pembrokeshire put on quite a show.
With sunshine, blue skies and temperatures reaching levels more often associated with the height of summer, it was a memorable week for visitors and locals alike. Across Wales, records were broken over the bank holiday weekend, and Pembrokeshire was no exception. Beaches, coastal paths and outdoor spaces were busy with families making the most of the conditions, while ice creams, paddles in the sea, boat trips, wildlife spotting and long evenings outdoors were all firmly on the agenda.
Of course, Pembrokeshire is beautiful in every season, but weeks like this are a reminder of why so many people return year after year. There is something special about seeing the coastline come to life under clear blue skies.
As we move into June, the signs of summer are certainly beginning to appear. If half term was anything to go by, there's plenty to look forward to in the weeks ahead.
Here's hoping the sunshine isn't quite finished with us yet.
