Bringing Your Dog?

Swallow Tree provides the perfect destination for your dog friendly holiday.  As a family run park, we understand that no holiday is complete without your loyal and loving companion.  Bordering the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, there is an abundance of walks and direct access to the beach.  We have a select number of dog friendly caravans and lodges with both sea and woodland views. We have also added additional features in our accommodation to cater to the needs of your dog during their stay.

One dog is permitted in our dog-friendly accommodation and a small nightly charge applies. To help us maintain high standards for all guests, we ask that guests take care of the holiday home during their pets stay. Additional deep cleaning charges may apply if necessary following departure.

For the safety and comfort of all guests, dogs prohibited under the Dangerous Dogs act (1991) cannot be accommodated at Swallow Tree Gardens. Guests are responsible for ensuring that any dogs brought to the park complies with all relevant legislation and control requirements.

The Accommodation

We have equipped our dog friendly accommodation with a few items and features that we feel will make your dogs’ stay more comfortable.

• A dog bed is provided, we do recommend however that you bring your pets own soft bedding that will be more familiar to your pet in their new surroundings.
• Secure and private decking to your accommodation
• Outside taps for ease of rinsing off those sandy paws on busy beach days
• Hose and spray nozzle
• Pet feeding bowls

If you routinely use a crate for your dog then we encourage you to bring this with you for use within your holiday home. We ask that you refrain from allowing your dog onto the soft furnishings and that they only enter areas where laminate flooring is fitted.

We want you and your much loved dog to enjoy every moment of your stay but also ask that in the interest of safety and enjoyment of other guests on the park the following guidelines are adhered to:

The Site

• Please keep your dog on a lead at all times whilst within Swallow Tree Grounds.
• Dogs must be under the control of a responsible adult.
• Your dog must not be left unattended in your holiday home for extended periods of time.
• Dogs must wear a collar along with their ID tag.
• Excluding assistance dogs - Your dog should not enter any other accommodation on the park that is not a designated pet friendly unit.
• Please make sure that you clean up after your pet. This applies to both on our park or whilst out and about.
